Question 1

What is mePad, and why not just use Linktree?

Accepted Answer

Linktree gives you a list of buttons. mePad gives you a real web page: a bento grid of cards you drag and resize, with links that fetch their own covers, photos, videos, rich text, a live map, portfolio case studies, forms, call bookings and products you can sell. It looks like a designed site, and it does the job of five tools: link in bio, portfolio, one page website, shop and booking page, in one link.

Question 2

What kinds of cards can I add to my page?

Accepted Answer

Link cards, image and video cards, rich text cards, a map card of where you work, case study cards that open into a full project page, form cards for contact or newsletter, a book-a-call card with your availability, and sell cards: digital products, Shopify products synced from your store, tips and paid calls. Most cards come in several sizes, and your page adapts to mobile by itself.

Question 3

Can I sell from my page? How much does mePad take?

Accepted Answer

Yes, selling is part of Pro. Sell digital products (up to 10 files per product, any format), receive tips, and charge for calls, straight from your page. Payments run on Stripe, the money goes to your own Stripe account, files are delivered automatically by email with a permanent download page, and buyers are invited to leave a verified review that shows on your card. mePad takes 0% commission on your sales, where other link in bio tools keep up to 12% of every sale. You only pay the standard Stripe processing fee. Already selling on Shopify? Connect your store, pick the products to show, and they stay in sync with your prices and stock, with checkout on Shopify.

Question 4

How do call bookings work?

Accepted Answer

Bookings are part of Pro. Add a booking card, set the days and hours you are available, your meeting link and, if you want, a price. Visitors pick a day and a time slot and send their request, paying upfront if the call is paid. You get an email, confirm in one click, they receive the confirmation with your meeting link, and you both get a reminder the day before. Every booking also appears in your Audience tab. It replaces a separate scheduling tool.

Question 5

Will people find my page on Google, and in ChatGPT or Perplexity?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and that is what Pro is for. On Free, your page is at mep.ad/yourname: Google indexes it, but the address belongs to mePad, not to you. On Pro, you connect your own domain and choose the title and description shown in Google and in link previews. Your page then ranks under your name, with everything Google needs done for you, and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity get a clear description of who you are. When someone searches your name, or asks an AI about you, your page is built to be the answer.

Question 6

What do I actually learn from the analytics and audience tools?

Accepted Answer

On every plan, you see how many times your page is opened, what gets clicked, card by card, and what you earn, over the last 15 days on Free. Pro shows the full picture, as far back as you want: how many different people visit, how long they stay, how many leave without clicking, whether they came from Instagram, Google or an AI like ChatGPT, which country and city they are in, and whether they are on a phone or a computer. The same advanced audience tools show country, city and traffic source next to every contact in your audience. Every form answer and call booking becomes a contact in your Audience tab (up to 20 contacts on Free, unlimited on Pro), with their country, city and source on Pro, and you can even see who started a form but did not finish it. Your sales have their own tab too. Search your contacts, and export everything as a CSV file whenever you want: your audience belongs to you.

Question 7

Can I use my own domain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free gives you mep.ad/yourname. On Pro you connect a domain you already own, with HTTPS handled for you, and your custom domain becomes the canonical address of your page for search engines and social previews.

Question 8

How much does it cost, and what do I get for free?

Accepted Answer

Free is free forever: your mep.ad/yourname page, the full bento editor, up to 8 published cards, one form and one video, 15 days of views and clicks, and up to 20 contacts. Pro is $12 per month billed yearly (2 months free), or $15 monthly: unlimited cards, selling with 0% commission including Shopify products, call bookings, unlimited forms and videos, your own domain, no mePad branding, map cards, page background color, full analytics history with unique visitors, and unlimited contacts. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from your settings.

Question 9

Is there a free trial of Pro?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro, with no card required: sell, take bookings, connect your domain, add as many cards as you want. When the trial ends your page simply goes back to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: Pro features are switched off and come back the moment you upgrade. One trial per account.

Question 10

Do I need design or coding skills?

Accepted Answer

No. The design part is already done: drag cards on the grid, pick a size, choose from curated palettes, and typography, spacing and the mobile layout stay clean by themselves. Claim your mep.ad/yourname, add a few cards, and you have a page that looks professionally designed in minutes.
